Programs of the Hemophilia Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2009
The Hemophilia Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HSBH) is non-government and not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with hemophilia. We constantly work on numerous programs in partnership with healthcare professionals, government and people with hemophilia and their families to secure the best possible care, treatment and support.
Some of the ongoing programs and planned activities are:
- Establishment of national Hemophilia Treatment Center, which is one of the main priorities in work of Hemophilia Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Creation of national hemophilia patients registry which has been set as one of the most important goals, and it can be seen as the integral part of plans concerning establishment of national Hemophilia Treatment Center;
- Organization of the third summer camp for persons with hemophilia in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Preparing and realization of specific physiotherapy programs for persons with hemophilia;
- Attendance at the most important events related to hemophilia treatment and care; and
- Organization of the Annual General Meeting of the Society.
