One of the priorities of Hemophilia Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina is foundation of national Hemophilia Treatment Center. Once it officially begins with its activities this would be the place to look for all news updates.
Musculoskeletal Committee for Hemophilia (MSC), established in 2003 by group of excellent doctors led by dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanovic, orthopedic expert from Sarajevo, in cooperation with Hemophilia Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is going to become important part of Hemophilia Treatment Center.
Musculoskeletal Committee is creating database about all known hemophilia patients in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hemophilia Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina provides information’s from its own hemophilia patient’s registry. This database would then help in creation of different programs.
Musculoskeletal Committee members attend Annual General Meetings of Hemophilia Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Summer camps for persons with hemophilia. These meetings are opportunity for the Committee to present its results and expectations and to be involved in different educational activities of the Hemophilia Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
